My friend had a seizure during an exam a little while ago, what do you think caused it?

What causes seizures like that....stress?? He was also spewing out blood. I am really worried.

some people are epileptic and that condition can be triggered by stress ,,,, as to the blood, he may of bitten his tongue , that is common with a epileptic seizure,,, many who have this take medicine to help control it,,,, i would suggest talking to your friend,,,,, asking him if he knows,,, it just something people are born with, a sort of misfiring of the nerves in the brain

He was probably spewing out blood because he bit his tongue during the seizure.
Anything could have caused the seizure. Is he an epileptic? Was he taking medication of any kind? Was he ill? All of these things need to be considered.

Does he do drugs? Did he have a recent head injury? Usually seizures stem from some injury to the brain. To shoot out blood like that isn't good. Perhaps there is something even more sinister happening like a tumour or blood clot or aneurysm, etc.

anything could have cause it. Previous answers include some possiblities. I don't know him at all. maybe he's a alcoholic and suddenly quit drinking to take the test. that can cause seizures. sure he could have bit his tongue but maybe he had a bleeding ucler..... The point of the example is to show you that it can really be anything.

she could be epileptic, and also certain medication causes seizures, and NOT taking certain medication causes them as well. I hope she's ok
