you can only live for a week without food maybe 12 days but about a week and only 3 days without water or it's curtins for ya
As for rude answer i dont understand why people see it ok do leave people stupid answers. And a healthy weight loss timeline is 1-2 lbs per week anything faster and you can cause damage to your body. Biggest loser and shows like that give people the wrong idea. There in need of fast weight loss and there under 24/7 watch by doctors. But for the average Joe 1-2 lbs a week is all you should lose and you will hit stalls along the way

Everyone's body will react differently to fasting. Sometimes you will lose weight more quickly by eating small amounts of foods. Also, the weight you lose by fasting will come back on very quickly as soon as you begin to take food again. I don't think anyone can lose 50 pounds in a month. The average weight loss should be 2 to 3 pounds per week. It is very dangerous to fast for long periods of time as it lowers your blood pressure too much.

how much you can lose depends on how much you weigh to begin with. if you are very overweight, you could probably lose 50 lbs, but that is a bad way to lose weight. it will be harder to keep it off and it is damaging to your body, can cause problems later.
But if you didn't eat for a month, really, you would have major blood sugar crashes and bad things and pass out and end up in the hospital on an iv before your month was over. so i don't think there is an 'average' b/c this is not something people do.
any kind of crazy thing like that can have different effects on different bodies. my mom's friend used to do things like this, now she has really bad IBS, is on medication all the time, in lots of pain, basically cannot work. this is not to mention damage it does to your heart and your immune system. but if you say you are not anorexic, I will not lecture you on what a terrible idea any of this is.

No I don't think you could lose 50 pounds in a month. When a person stops eating, which is harder than one thinks. Your body shuts down and starts hoarding. Because it needs the energy provided by food just to keep functioning.
In the case of a female, which most anorexics are, periods stop first and slowly the organs start to be damaged from lack of energy (food)to keep them working. The heart muscle requires carbohydrates to keep it beating correctly.
I have been of low carb diets and developed a racing heart and irregular heart beat. It frightening.
Have you researched through Google?
I certainly hope you aren't thinking of going this direction.

not eating for a month or two is extremely dangerous. i've heard of the three rule, regarding how long you can last without certain necessities: 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food. i'm not sure how accurate this is, but i am pretty sure, however, that going that long without food can be very harmful and potentially lead to hospitalizaton. i don't know if that helps you or not, hope it does, though. good luck with your research.

Not eating for a month is impossible. You will die after a week of not drinking.
