The best DVD ripper software is the Anydvd in combination with CloneDVD2 where you could burn exact DVDs and also make them into image files (.iso). Anydvd is a software that works in the background that removes all DVD protections. CloneDVD2 is the DVD copy software. You must use them in combination. You can download them off the internet and buy the activation code or you could get some cracks off the internet to activate it, nether way it works.

I've never heard of anybody buying DVD ripping software. Maybe buying the DivX Pro codec and encoder.
