We did. I had soup and risotto washed down with some gorgeous mulled wine and fresh bottled water.

I'll just add that someone 'bought' us the meal out as a gift!

Oh yes ... thanks for asking! We've just enjoyed another fine selection from Micky D's dollar menu. The fabulous Double Cheeseburger, expertly prepared French fries, and a small, ever-popular Diet Coke! What a fine choice. It was a December 7th, 7:04 vintage ... excellent bouquet! Elegant, yet understated!

I'm tellin' ya, it just doesn't get any better than this ... life is good!

Unfortunately not. The last time I went out for a nice dinner, I ended up being checked for radiation. It's put me off going out for a bit, although I did have a lovely dinner.

And after braving the London crowds doing my Christmas shopping, I was just glad to get home to a hot bath, a nice Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc, and some soup and toast... Oh, and my comfy PJs, and lovely toasty fire...

Dinner out, yes. Lovely. . .well, not really. The sandwich was dry and the salad wasn't, which is not a good state of affairs.

Next time, I think I'll go for the same sort of exquisite vintage Mickey D's diet soda and haute cusinine burgers that Maddog had! :-)

I had fish and chips.

The squirty tomato sauce intrigued me. Its a 25ml plastic bubble that you break off the end and squeeze. Its also my weapon of choice for the week. I can't believe how straight and accurate the jet is !

Nope. I had food from the caf. It was okay tonight - stewed okra & tomatoes, rice, grilled chicken, water, good old soft-seve ice cream.
