You don't need a Christians opinion on this subject ... just an opinion.
He was probably a leach all of his life and this is nothing new for him. Leopard's don't change their spots and my guess is that his wife probably knows about his behavior
If this instructor makes you unconfortable and you can't ignore his stares then perhaps you should speak to someone about it . Perhaps the school counselor, dean or your parents.
Can you switch classes to another instructor? That is another option. OR you could confront the instructor with your observation and let him know you are not comfortable with his behavior. Good Luck.

There's beauty in modesty. Because she takes care of how she looks and how she appears to other people that shows that she has not just outer beauty, but inner beauty too. She takes pride in how she looks, and that tells people that she has high morals, she's not a "loose" woman running around with every man she sees. That's attractive. Most guys want the wholesome girl rather than the girl who can't commit and just wants attention and flings.
Sure, this proffesor is a pervert, but when someone is that beautiful, its hard for anyone to not notice.

Sounds like you're kidding, but I'll offer.
He may not be lusting at all, he may be reminded of a daughter or a love he once had, it may not be at all what you're inferring. The other thing, maybe if he is looking at her "that way" it is to remember who he was when he was that age; you can pretty well bet he wouldn't be able to keep up with her if she reciprocated; very sad this goes on, especially in a place of learning where it should be safe and young woman shouldn't feel like they have to hide to avoid this type of stuff, ITS WRONG!

Why is this strange to you? This is nothing new. Men of all ages have lusted after younger women for years. Jesus says that to look at a woman with lust you have already committed adultery. That is the thing with God, it is not just our actions but our thoughts that God exams. Who could stand before such perfection that God demands, no one except Christ. So basically watch your own sins and not that of another.

Why ask us? We aren't supposed to be wondering what the motivation is for others actions. We are supposed to be praying and working out our own savation with fear and trembling. We really don't want to hear about someone else's sin. We can only defend Christian actions. We do not have to defend any action that is not Christian. We should not comment on that at all, but only pray for that person's soul. Any comment would be pride filled gossip, and that is not Christian.

Boys will be boys and old farts will be old farts. I myself am an old fart but I do not have any desire to ogle a young gal. I do find many other women attractive and that certainly doesn't mean I lust after them. I dearly love my wife. I have found the older I get, the older the women I find attractive are.

There is no excuse for it, and I agree that it is gross, but maybe he is just a dirty old man. Trying to explain why someone lusts after something is nigh impossible. Men are genetically wired to be attracted to healthy women of reproductive age, I doubt that age simply turns that drive off.

Because men are weak when it comes to this and many men lust- that is why I God tells us as women to dress modestly- one good reason is because it makes men lust when we dont. Yes it is gross that he stares at her...but this happens everywhere because we are living in a perverted world....
