I mean, honestly. We Christians try to be all loving, yet you still hate. (By you, I am actually talking to the people that hate, not you as a whole). Is it because you think we are ignorant, because we are believed to have been a part of the Crusades, because Christianity made Hilter kill people because of their beliefs, or is it something different? I would only like honest answers, please, answering the question to the best of your ability. If you cannot answer the question well, don't answer at all, or if you are going to try and be funny, don't answer either, I am not in the mood. Any answers I find like this will be reported.

Dear Answermyquestions101:
Perhaps you misunderstood. I was calling the people who hate Christians haters. I used the Hitler analogy as an example, like, Why do people hate Christians? Is it because of this, this, this, or this, etc. Basically I was saying the opposite of what you read.

Dear BLACK METAL:
The Bible does not have 'editions', rather, it is different versions that are translated into text to be read by people of different grade levels.

I don't hate christians I hate the religion in which they abide by. Actually I hate all religions. Why? becuase I cannot concieve what is so great about worshipping something that has no real backgroud. If the bible is the right book to follow why were there things taken out of it? Why is there so many editions? So if you cannot tell me why these things are like this then I'm not going to believe. Also I hate people who try to pawn off their religion on people IE mormons jahovah witnesses. They only follow part of the bible not the bible as a whole becuase they feel that there is no need to. (My aunt is a JW.) So it's not the people that I hate for believing in these religions it's the religions themselves.

Honestly - I have no fondness for christians because of the overhelming ignorance I find.
I don't have an overwhelming love of any faith, but in particular I find Wicca and Christianity twinned in intollerence and ignorance with delusions to udnerstanding and tollerence. Both beleive they are the epitamy of lovely undertsanding opejn minded people. Hell, some even are. But mostly, they're pig-headed single-minded and intent on telling you everyhting that's wrong with your life.
I know there's a large number who are not - but that changes nothing of my experiances with these two groups.
I spent a large periord of time in secondry school being threaterned and told how demonic I was by the christians there. It's done no favours for my opinions of them. Neither has being forced to sing songs to praise God in primary school or the time my teacher tried to have me excorsised (long story).
Christians have a habit of trying to read or quote the bible at the slightest comment - such a s"I have no fondness of the christian God." Which I consider to be the end of the conversation - I have yet to meet a christian who will just leave that be. It's not up for discussion or conversion. It's a simple statement ment to say 'Please don't try to convince me he's a nice guy' (only ever brought up after religion is brought up too). It drives me crazy.
It's the saving your soul thing. I don't NEED my soul saved, and I'd rather I was left to do my own thing with it. But many - most, in fact - of the christians I have met will not let it lie.
I have christian friends - the christians who do not bring up christianity with me. I don't want to know. they're the ones who when told I don't want to know, accepted this. I seems the overwhelming majority cannot.
don't tell me I'm exagerating with 'majority'. I'm afraid I'm not.

I can't speak for everyone but I don't hate Christians at all. But, I do find some types of Christians to be more than a little annoying at times.
This is because some Christians (and you know who you are!) are always trying to shove their religion in your face with comments like "Jesus loves you," "What would Jesus do?" "Jesus is the only way," and "God bless you" (not when someone has just sneezed) and on and on and on ... It makes me a tad uncomfortable because I don't share the same beliefs and don't know how to politely respond to such babble.
Also, I think many people out there who have become right-wing, evangelical-type Christians in the past ~30 years tend to be intolerant of people whose lifestyle choices do not match what they would consider a "Christian" way of life. Their opinions are theirs and I wouldn't take them away from them even if I could, but why do they use these beliefs as a basis to elect political leaders? Makes no sense to me.
But, what bothers me more than this intolerance, is that many in this category initially joined their church simply because in our suburban-sprawl, technology-driven, environmentally ravaged, hyper-capitalist world, they were looking for a community where they could feel *real* again. Know what I mean? Well, that's certainly understandable but it's tragic that this then leads them to make such incredibly poor choices in electing politicians (i.e., Bush). Because this guy Bush doesn't give a fart for you Christians, really, he's just using y'all as a means to an end.
I don't think Hilter had anything to do with Christianity and vice versa, by the way.

If you really sit down and think a/b how society is today, just a/b every race, culture, and/or religion is hated for their beliefs. Think a/b it. People from Afganistan are hated by Americans b/c some think that their region/ people that look like them are all responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but thats not true by any means. It's sad I know, but that's how perverted our world has become. If you don't look like someone or have the same beliefs as them then you are hated for your uniqueness! I know it's bad and wrong, but sadly that is what the world has come to! May God Bless and Have a Great Weekend!

I hate VERY few people, and as it happens, they are not Christian. I do not, however like someone to judge me, or anyone else. This is the only thing I hate about most of the Christians I have met. I don't hate them as a person, I only hate what they do. Does your bible not tell you that God will be the judge and that we as humans should not judge each other? Other than that, I have NO problems with Christians. And even if I hate what some do, I do not hate them! I also must say that not ALL Christians that I know are like this!

I don't think it's hate. Methinks nobody knows what God "Looks like" but in certain religions you know what their Gods look like. And perhaps because of the different names we call him. Jehovah, God, etc.. And as for the Crusades, That was the turning point of Christianity, where Ancient Rome died, And "New Rome" was born,(East and West) forming the "Dark Ages." To me that was when they used Politics to enforce Christianity. (But really, real Christians know they talk about the bible, try to at least inspire ones mind with an interest, instead of "Enslaving" it.) And who really knows what went through Hitlers mind back then? We can only guess why. Maybe he was stupid. Maybe he got confused when it said "Love your enemies." Maybe he didn't believe in it. (Rumor has it he was a flame-O anyway.) But it sure as hell wasn't Christianity that promoted it! Finally there are a lot of other religions out there and just like everybody else, they're going to do the same. refute yours and endorse theirs. You just got to believe, man. That's faith. I mean did you know that WAAAAAAYYYYY back then, they actually believed on ONE God?
=)

Speaking for myself I don't hate Christians, I don't tend to hate Groups, except those who have a whole hate agenda like the Klan and Neo-Nazis.
I do have a dislike for people who try and force their belief on my, be the Christian or otherwise. Basically if you stand at my door after I have politely said no thank you and continue to preach, we have a problem.
I wish all Christians were as you have said, sadly that is not the case.

The problem with phrasing your question this way has been the problem for so many years. You say Christians but do you group all Christians together? Are you grouping yourself with those who believe that killing abortion doctors is justified or are you like normal people who believe it's wrong.
The word Christian is so general that you can't say, "Why do you hate Christians?" It's like saying, "Why do you hate humans?"
I'm reminded of a joke we used to play during grade school. We'd be walking to class and someone would yell, "Hey, stupid!" Everyone would turn around and look at that person. It was as if everyone responded to that name.
The same thing applies to our problem. When someone says crazy/evil/etc... Christians, why do some Christians assume it's them people are talking about? Why are some Christians turning their head when someone yells, "Hey stupid."

I think there are very few people who actually HATE christians, i just think that they don't relally believe in Jesus. It's just really hard to have faith in today's world. Today's world makes doubt really possible. With the war in Iraq and all the suffering going on, we gotta wonder if there is a God, then why doesn't he do something? I guess that's my answer

I only hate the bigoted, prejudiced, hypocritical and hateful people who claim to be Christians who profess that they love and obey God and then are disrespectful towards others by insulting other people's beliefs, cultures and traditions.
No one, regardless or religious conviction, should judge other religions or beliefs as false. If you find your happiness as a Christian, then by all means, be happy that you have it. However, do not impose your concept of religion or spirituality on others who have their own belief systems or convictions from which they derive their happiness.
Bottomline:
Respect us and we shall respect you...
Throw the first stone, then expect stones to be thrown at you.
