It would be a disgrace to us Americans. We can't keep America free if we allow unlimited immigration from those countries whose population is spinning out of control. If we try and accept all those people that are crushing their society into poverty, we will crush ourselves into poverty. To give them all amnesty would guarantee many millions more would come here. We simply can't keep up with their big-family mentality, their countries can't support those many jobs, and we can't either. It's time for congress to represent their own citizens and do what is right by the people of our country, and not fix what we can't

A couple of things:

1. Republicans could try to stop it from passing, but some of them support the bill too.

2. Bush could veto it, but he probably won't.

3. The generalization that illegal immigrants somehow dilute our citizenship's worth doesn't make much sense to me. The bill wouldn't even *give* them automatic citizenship. It would ensure, however, that they're registered on the books and paying taxes (which goes toward, among other things, Social Security).

Yes, it's possible that they may become citizens down the road, but you know, this country was built by immigrants, and blaming them for the woes of the nation is a perfect example of scapegoating. Why not complain about the businesses that *hire* illegal immigrants and pay them under the table? They're stealing from the country, too.

Their reason is the Latin & latin /American vote and the help of the AG human beings. they do no longer care that colleges listed below are over crowded with illegals and are unable to grant American childrens the right education. Ca went from extremely some the terrific colleges to extremely some the worst because of fact the Amnesty bill signed with the help of Reagan (and in case you verify the unlawful pop strengthen is stable in time with the school decline). Their childrens and acquaintances childrens maximum in all probability have in no way seen the interior a public college. The undesirable information is that Bush will in all probability supply his help for this too.

Considering they haven't done that, I don't think about it at all.
And I am not worried about it either. Do you think they are going to risk the White House with such an issue? Their best tactic will be to make progress in getting us out of Iraq. Honestly, politicians don't care one way or the other about anyone but themselves. Remember when Hilary compared the illegal to Jesus Christ? Then, all those marches happened and people realized what Americans thought about the situation. All the sudden she completely quieted about the issue. Wonder why?

Illegals...have put MILLIONS upon millions of dollars into Social Security that they can not claim or use--But illegal aliens have also used more than one SSN and why should a cheat be rewarded with money based on deception and lies.At some point they have to be responsible for their actions not rewarded

Think of all of the people who spent thousands of dollars to legally become citizens. Are they going to get all of that money refunded if amnesty is given to all of the illegals? Hope there are some lawyers reading this to pick up what could possibly be one of the largest class action law suits in history.

it is already gone and it is only starting, each time that big brother needs more power and money it takes it from America and they hate the guilt trip of knowing they are on a fling and don't have anything in their minds to balance any budget they have to tax and spend by the end of the year to get more if there is anything left they cause more problems and the general funds is payrolled out to people who ask you for more and that is the business of business, the money is gone your land in this country is being sold to them so they can make what ever they can off of the new poor that is willing to work most can afford to work for nothing and corporations are ready to hack off the head of anything that smells like a union, we cover up dirty politics with war and then we cover up dirty wars with politics so they have a line of crap coming at you because evidence can be found to support anything, so you loss your countr, u loss your future and u loss faith but they will be ready to advise u to c the good that will come of this after ur dead of course

You're an idiot. Bush suggested amnesty long before the November elections.

Where did you hear this? I watch the news regularly, and have seen nothing about this in any news broadcast. And the "newly elected Democrats" can't legislate this without the President's signature. It has to be a House and/or Senate bill.
