I was raped by a friend. I never reported him and a while later we are here today and we are friends again. My friend says it's weird that I trust my friend again. He apoligized and eventually I forgave him. I spend time with him, but we are only friends. I have a b/f who I know will keep me safe.I know if my b/f is there I am fine. Is it wrong to trust an old friend who raped you, and molested you before?? Is he doing this to get close enough to do it again??

Coming from someone who has been sexually abused as well as raped, I don't understand why you would even consider being friends with this person? Why take the risk of him doing it again? I'd never take that chance myself. I would recommend ending the new friendship you've created as soon as possible, is it really worth the risk of going thru that pain again...

U can forgive and forget without being his buddy...

I can't say whether it's wrong or right, I do, however, think it's dangerous. If you only feel safe around him when your boyfriend is there, then obviously you don't trust this guy not to do it again. Not to mention that even if you did trust him that much, what he did was inexcusable, and even if you've been able to forgive him for what he did, I would think he's still undeserving of your friendship. Please be careful!

Again: It sounds mentally and emotionally unhealthy to put trust into someone who violated you.

of course --- it may be too late to get him arrested but you are not asking but courting fate to be around him --- he will do it again ---- tell him to get lost and never even LOOK at you again

yes, u should keep away from him...otherwise, he will start asking for favors which will later lead to many other problems.
