First of all, you have an eating disorder. Regardless of what kind it is, you have one and it is serious. If your mother does not believe you, you need to go to a school counselor or a doctor or someone else you trust who can help you to get some help.
Bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa are two types of eating dsorders that the general public gets confused about frequently.
Bulimia nervosa is defined as follows:
1.) Episodes of binge eating with a sense of loss of control
2.) Binge eating is followed by compensatory behavior of the purging type (self-induced vomiting, laxative abuse, diuretic abuse) or nonpurging type (excessive exercise, fasting, or strict diets).
3.) Binges and the resulting compensatory behavior must occur a minimum of two times per week for three months
4.) Dissatisfaction with body shape and weight
Bulimics are usually close to a normal body weight or are overweight.
Anorexia nervosa is also defined by four characteristics:
1.) Refusal to maintain weight within a normal range for height and age (more than 15 percent below ideal body weight). Your ideal weight is 145 pounds, 15% below is about 123 pounds.
2.) Fear of weight gain
3.) Severe body image disturbance in which body image is the predominant measure of self-worth with denial of the seriousness of the illness
4.) Missing your period for at least 3 months in a row.
Anorexics either starve themselves, binge and then throw up, or do both. Some anorexics supplement their weight loss with excessive weight loss.
Someone who doesn't fit either of these categories is said to have an eating disorder "not otherwise specified". Sometimes they have some features of both diseases, and this can be especially dangerous. You have a disease, and it can kill you. It is one of the hardest things in the world to overcome but you must find someone to help you. Don't give up. God bless!

Ehh that sounds disgusting. I would rather go out with a chick that has a booty then a chick thats skinny and throwing up all day.
I usually trip a girl on the first date. If something breaks when she falls or she bleeds real easy... she's not for me. Women are so stupid when it comes to this. Don't you realize most chicks that look amazing are fit not skinny. They have abs and toned everything because they work out.
Your problem isn't being bulimic... your just a bum. Try stepping on a treadmill.
Go find the blessing that is Cheesecake Factory's Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. Then, go work out. I eat like hippo and run for 20 mins a day on a treadmill. My body is mind blowing.

it's not a disease it's a condition, I was bulimic for 2 years, I would binge then run to the bathroom and throw up, everything i ate i would barf up, work out like crazy just to be thin, are you throwing up after each meal? STOP I did it so much that I threw up blood and I had to stop before I died. You need counseling as well, I did meth for 7 years just to be thin, that almost killed me too, please please get help, email me if you have any questions or if you need someone to talk to, it's hard I know but you must love yourself and if you think you need to loose weight there are so many healthy ways of doing it.

I would say you have a problem. You need to be evaluated by a medical professional.
With bulimia it is a psychological disorder. A person with bulimia purge and binge on food. Purging usually takes form of using diuretics, laxatives, vomiting and excessive exercising.
There are wide consquences to bulimia: dehydration, malnutrition, esphogeal tares, teeth erosion, missed periods, electrolyte imbalance,Potential death caused by heart attack or heart failure; lung collapse; internal bleeding, stroke, kidney failure, liver failure; pancreatitis, gastric rupture, perforated ulcer, depression and suicide.
I hope you will seek treatment for this before you damage ALL organ systems.

You are suffering from an eating disorder. Please get help as soon as possible. Laxatives are very dangerous because they will deplete your electrolytes from your body and then you'll be in real trouble.
Contact an Anoxeria Nervosa and Bulimia Eating disorder group. Go on-line to find a group near you. Please, I beg you to get help now. I've been there, I know what I'm talking about.

Yes you are. You need to get professional help because you are damaging your body and are at risk for heart problems ie heart attack. If your mom won't listen, find an adult who will. Do you remember what happened to Karen Carpenter? This is nothing to fool around with.

You are bulemic, you can kill yourself doing this after a long run. Stop this, who cares what your weight is. If no one likes how you look tell them to go **** themselves. Accept yourself sweety, I know you can!
