Well. You brought up a good point.
I guess, from the Abrahamic views of God, (though I am not completely sure), God isn't a female or male. And I believe it is Abrahamic religious texts that have the most violence pertaining to God. But since they don't believe in a female superbeing, the argument is irrelevant.
In Hinduism, quite a few of the Gods are females: Goddesses. But there is no violence as far as the religious texts go.
I am not sure about Buddhism or the Baha'i faith.
So, I guess this question would be suitable to ask an Abrahamic follower, but I don't think they believe in God as a physical being. Except Christians, but Jesus was a male.

The scripture says: God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (St. John 4:24). Spirits are spirits and humans are humans. God is far beyond being anything near to us. He is everything we're not, and he is definitely not cruel but fair. The devil is cruel and those not love you but he loves what you just said about God. Be careful! God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7).

I disagree with some of the answers. My Bible refers
to God, the Father so He definitely is male. He sent
His Son Jesus to earth to live for 33 years. That's
pretty plain to me. If many people believe God to be
female, that's their problem....many people believe
it's okay to rape and murder also, but that indeed does
not make them right.

He's not like, physically male and female, but as a spirit He is both. That's how He understands us all even more than we do.

If god was a woman, things would be set up a lot differently. If god was a male, women would have a third breast, one in the middle of their back ..............for slow dancing

Personally - I think God (the All) is neutral and genderless. But then I don't believe in the Christian perception of "God".
