Immortal. Does that mean age-proof or invulnerable? People could still die from violence, disease, starvation, asphyxiation. But if natural causes were eliminated and the birth rate weren't drastically reduced, we'd see some resource strain.
Would this treatment be generally administered or would it be fee-based? There could be some class issues there.
Of course, if we made the skin impregnable and eliminated the need for food, air and heat, things would get REALLY weird.

if you think that Jesus and so forth 1 god is the creation of earth keep that crap to your selves. because if you have belief then you obtain nothing. to being an immortal are logics that we do not understand. no one can because they can not see past their own demise. welcome to my world if you may. .1 shut the hell up about gods that's the past. .2 stop think about it and learn your place in this world. .3 understanding everything by knowing of the questions. .4 never ask your selves what if. .5 you really want to look this up? here is all over your answers none of you will become a divine, demigod, saint, or a god. IMMORTALITY is not obtained it is given to you. But you can obtain a portion of this hidden power unlocking the full brain. that is the human immortality. the great power is within us already. we have to prove that we deserve to use this. no one decides this power not a god or another immortal their self. this is entirely your deciding based on what I have collected for the past 15 years. all humans now days in these times are pathetic and weak. never deserving this hidden power. P.S did you know that only 7 Immortals are still alive as I type this. good luck.

It's not gonna happen because biologie dosent permit it cells have only a certain limit of times they can reproduce and your body cant do much after that. The most people can expect to live is around 80 to 100 years we can help people live as long as their body can support it but youd just end up dying of age. Why would anyone want to be immortal anyways?

Why would you WANT to be immortal? Wouldn't that get a little boring after a while...as I see it, death is only the beginning of a new journey. Yes, I want to live my life full and long; I wish to see my children and my children's children enjoy Earth and it's bounties, but to want to have that forever is a bit selfish. Life is about renewal, and to continuously renew without death would be catastrophic.

The only time us humans will become immortal (and we will) is after the ressurection. Then we will all live forever. Where we will be depends on us.

Never, our life expectancy has actually decreased for the first time in recent recorded history. We are on a downward swing even with all the technology.
