We used to call it a nippy but as soon as he learned how to speak, he corrected us. One day he took it out of his mouth, held it up and said "Nook, mama." Eversince it has been his nook.

i'd call them nipples, it really is what they're! That note is in common words uncomfortable for you because you realize it has different meanings that make you uncomfortable calling them that yet to a baby it really is only a note. there is no longer some thing "impolite" about it. We call the suitable of a bottle a nipple without problem. Why are human beings so petrified of common words? it really isn't any ask your self our youngsters is so twisted up at the same time as it includes those matters. anybody who retains announcing he's 8, re-study the question...he's 8 months.

My son started calling his pacifier "boo". "Boo" in my house has taken on a personality of his own. If we can't find him (for my daughter now) my son will start calling out for him....and he tells me,"Sister's Boo is playing hiding/seek." We make a game out of looking for Boo.

my daughter called hers a 'baby' Actually she calls a lot of things 'baby'. Stuffed animals, her sippy cup, books, cats, nose, just about anything you point at. It's cute, although i'm starting to get worried. :)
