It depends what you're using it for. I might use it in cookies or a pie crust, but I certainly wouldn't slather it on my warm toast.
By the way, Crisco is an all-vegetable source product. It is in no way lard.

You can, but if you're going to do that, it's better to use the yellow Crisco (Butter Flavor Crisco) instead of Crisco. I often use the yellow Crisco instead of butter or margarine in baking.

Well, it depends on what you are cooking or baking, if cooking then yes but if baking then no you should always use crisco for cookies and pies and that sort of thing.

You could, but it would never taste as good as real butter. I always use butter. It's natural and really much better for you than people think.
