I've noticed more and more Brazilians working and running business in my home town in England. No complaints about it, I was just curious as to what the rules are for Brazilian immigrants. I know EU citizens are free to live and work here, but what special dispensations are there for Brazilians and why? I had never even met a Brazilian til about 8 months ago, and that guy who was shot on the tube last year was described as an "electrician". Why would a Brazilian electrician be able to work in the UK?

unlike oz we let anyone in, once they are in they can claim asylum!. Your area is probable the same as mine with a different race we have Pakistanis. Once the word has spead between them back 'home' how great life is over here ie how much tax payer money they can get they all want it and so they come and come and come.
one gets a visa sets up a business and before you know it there's 100 + working for him but we cant send them home because they might get killed....yer...yerr..whatever.

We need a good crack down on our immigration ,and questions like yours should be answered by the goverment ,but we know they wont be, i myself wonder how an ILLEGAL brazillian immigrant has a council flat ,and then gets himself shot by the police and we end up paying his familey thausands of pounds in compansatoin ,?
