He's afraid you might sit on him

The answer is so very simple yet so many can't seem to figure it out. Use you brain. If God did show Himself and proved to all that He does exist, what would be the point? Everyone would fear Him and naturally would believe in Him and there would be a bunch of scared robots here. God wants you to believe in Him on your own, through faith. Not through fear alone. He wants your love and your devotion by your free will. Is that so very hard to understand?

Actually, He did. He came to earth as a part of the
Trinity and walked the earth among men for 33 years.
Then he related to His followers all He wanted us
to know while we are here on earth, and they wrote
it all down as He ordered, and that's why all we have
to do is read His Word, the Holy Bible. It's all in there.
From his birth to his death and then his rising from the
grave. No other so-called God has ever been able to
accomplish that so we know it is for Real. We are so
blessed to have had this Word passed down through
the generations. The dead sea scrolls that were found
proved that what is in the Bible is exactly what was first
written on scrolls.

He does. He is in the person reaching out to the oppressed. The people caring for the needy. We ask so often where is God but too often I think God is asking where are we? If we really have a relationship with Him then why does it not make a difference in the world around us. If we are God's then you have to see God through me as I interact with the world around me.

He did, 2000 years ago. by the sounds of it, that showing didn't work for you. i guess people expect him to show himself every 10 minutes just so we can be absolutely sure that He's real. of course that would basically make Him our servant, and we'd probably come up with reasons to doubt the appearances no matter how often they were, but i suppose that's besides the point.

If God wanted people to follow him purely for their own self gain, He would show himself. But that's the point, He wants people to come to Him by faith.

That is a good question.. But why ask?
He doesn't have to show himself.. It;s just common sence to believe in him! I wonder sometimes why don;t he just show himself. BUt I don;t blaim him. Not all of us want to because it would be scary, but I would still love to see him.. You'll see him when you die, well suppose if your good. I think he won't show himself, because he needs you guys to grow into thinking he is real becase he is.... I no for SURE there is a GOD! I know no one knows for sure.. But I am saying this BEcause.... WHo was the first person on Earth? _____________

GOD! Who made us? ________________

A: Obviously our parents but God was the person who made himself and the second person!

Well.... It's okay if you don't believe in God or whatever, but it's your loss!

Think if you were God... He knows you asked this Question... Think of how he feels when people ask this..... Kind of asking does he exist?

He doesn't appear now because it is written in the Bible that he will come back to Earth again. That's the whole reason why we don't see him. What happened in the past where he appears and does miracles doesn't apply to our present time because Jesus had ascended in heaven right. So, when God comes back, the Bible says, "every eye shall see him."

Even if God did show himself, people would still argue that it wasn't Him, or even say that it was Satan. People would totally argue about it and people would still not believe in Him. What's the point?

Have you ever seen a sunset? How about a rose bloom?
What about a newborn baby? God is everywhere, you just have to look.

I believe he shows himself in another form and when I get to heaven, I'll meet him face-to-face.
