i dont get it. shess soooo pretty, but she gets these horrid hair cuts. i dunno why, but last tues. she came in BALD! i have nothing against bald, but its.... odd for a 15 yr. old girl yes?

I always wanted to go bald once in my life. Ever since I seen Persis Khambatta in the first Star Trek movie.
I applaud your friend's nerve. But I worry that there might be an underlying issue. Maybe she had head lice or a fungus infection? Maybe she had a problem with her body image? Perhaps she is severely depressed? When women are depressed it is a fact that the first thing to go is the hair.
Ask her to talk. Try to draw it out of her. If you think she needs it, talk to her parents about getting her help. You might be saving her life.

Why is it an issue? It's her head and she can do whatever she wants with it.
It may be out of the ordinary, but not everyone wants to look like everyone else.

Yes odd but She is young & experementing. It usually takes a while for you to get used to what looks good & what doesn't. I know I look back at myself 10 years agao & wish I knew then what I know now...

I say, thats the best way to start over. if her haircuts were so bad, this is a good thing, her hair will grow back even and she'll be able to do more with it :)

Well it depends. It's her hair, and she can wear it the way she likes. She SHOULD wear it the way she likes. And what kind of hair does she have? Black and straight, and silky, or brown and really thick and curly? It really revolves around that.

Why do you have to belittle her and say she has "issues"? Its her hair and her head. Get off her back. If she's pretty she's pretty with or without hair.
