This is so sad i`m not any religion either but i am spiritual and i do believe in God ,you should pray for the little boy and so will i
I`m a mother and i can`t begin to imagine what the family is going through i`m so sorry for you all , but don`t think because you don`t go to church that bans you from praying .If you didn`t believe there is a God why would you have asked for prayers.it`s obvious that you do

That is such awful news, especially at this special time of the year. Hang on to your faith and of course even without knowing more info will offer a special prayer that the Lord's healing hands will be placed upon your daughter's friend's brother - bless him and his family. I do hope and pray also that one day you will learn more of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ that will enable you to go forward with your faith.

I would be glad to pray for him, but you don't have to be religious to pray, you do however have to be saved to get a prayer through. If you are not saved the bible says in St. John 9:31 God heareth not sinners but he who does the will of God him he heareth. You might say what is the will of God? well it is living life obeying all the commandments of God. Living by the word of God and not just carrying a bible around but truly living it word for word without willfully sinning. That is what he requires of all of us. He loves you dear one, don't let religion confuse you, salvation is what matters. God bless you! we will be praying for the little boy and thanks for your concern for him that you were honest enough to admit your spiritual condition.

I will pray for him tonight, but you don't need to be religious to have faith in God, or ask for his help, the rules of religion have been written by man, not God

I pray, but am not religious - in this world there is many candles (Religions) but they all make one big true light, despite everything.

You don't have to be religious to be Spiritual.
Religion is about tradition. Spirituality is about a personal relationship with god.
