My hair is brown right now...

If I dye my hair black temporary - 14 washes - what color will it be closer to the end of those 14 washes? Will it stay pretty much the same color of black the whole time or is there a chance of it being grayish or any other colors?

Whatever colour u are starting from, it will seem to stay black for about 4/6 washes. Then, and this is where ur original colour comes into play, it will start to lighten ever so little to begin with. If your real hair is any way light, then it will look like a dirty grey. You will cry ur eyes out and run to a hairdressers to get fixed. Don't do it! Go to a professional if you must have it done, but I think ur mad. Have u considered how harsh black hair looks on faces that weren't meant to be framed by it?

They either don't really work or you can't get the stuff out.

I would recommend doing a darkest brown permanent color as they tend to look like natural black.

If you really want the violet base, check the base colors on the dyes and you should be able to find a darkest brown with a violet base or at least some violet tones in there.

Will stay black for some time, eventually fades back to dark brown although your hair will be slightly darker brown than your natural colour for a few washes more

Why not do dark brown instead? my hair is very nearly black naturally but I use dark brown cos black can go a bit funny. You'll hardly(if at all) tell the difference and you'll have no worries.

I dont reccomend you do that it is extremly hard to get balck out of your hair and even with the temperary color it is depositing color into your hair and chances are it will not all wash off....them you will have one color on the bottom and one color on the top...not to nice

Sort of black. It's not just going to suddenly change over one wash.
