Hmm sorry about the toothache... Here are some suggestions.

1) For a natural solution - Clove oil, you can get it at a health food store and its very cheap. Put a drop on your finger and rub it on the tooth and gum that hurts. Its doesn't taste too bad and its natural and works immediately.

2) My grandma's cure - High power Whiskey and do the same procedure as the clove oil

3) Extra strength Tylenol, that is all that the ER would give you anyway. I don't like it because it thickens the blood and increases the chance of a stroke.

Hope it helps.

The BEST way is to visit the Dentist. Try this....................
Make a *strong* warm salt solution. Rinse your mouth thoroughly, making sure you give it a good "slosh". Allow the solution to "lay" over the affected tooth/teeth. Do this for a full minute.DO NOT SWALLOW!!! Repeat three times a day. In between times, you can push some salt around the teeth/gums that are affected.Keeping the area warm also helps. Make up a warm salt bag. Place on side of face with the pain, tie on with a scarf. Lay down! The more active, the more pain.Take some pain relief. Visit the dentist asap!!

Seeing a dentist...or if they are closed and it is very painful, an emergency room at the hospital can prescribe pain pills until you can call the dentist the next day.

Those suck. Go to bed. Only thing that works well! And then go to the dentist tomorrow.
