That is a really sweet idea first off, I did that a few years ago myself :o) I know it has already been mentioned but Walmart does have some nice jewelry for good prices, also you might want to check out the little things(sorry I can't think of the name!) in the middle of malls, that have jewelry they usually have some nice jewelry and some have good prices, hope this helps! :o)

My best friend did this with her now husband. They got gorgeious rings at Wal-Mart. Or you can go to some pawn type of shops that specialize in jewelry. They usually sell them for a lot cheaper than anywhere else. My fiance got me a diamond and ruby promise ring for $39 at a place that mainly sells guns, but the guy also sells jewelry. I have seen some really expensive stuff there selling for half or less than what it's worth! There are just so many options as to where to go. Check in the phone book, in your local ads that come in the mail, etc. Good luck!

I have never heard of a girl giving the guy a promise ring. I suggest wal mart. Why dont people think of that place when they want a cheap ring???? I have mentioned it to at least 3 other people on here.

Get at the mall or if u want it under $60 then get it at goodwill or somewhere cheap. Cheap ring is not cool! so u have to get it more than just 60 dollors! How would want a cheap ring? not me!

I think it's awesome that you are getting your boyfriend a ring. I bought my husband an engagement ring long, long ago.
