I'd say start by eliminating soda and any other high calorie drink. Stick to water or Diet stuff. Depending on how much you drink you are probably saving at least 500 calories a day.
Definately get on some kind of exercise program. Lift some weights, get some definition. It's tough to maintain sometimes but i guarantee you feel better afterword than if you just sat on your *** all day. As soon as you wake up in the morning try to knock out some pushups or something like that.
I really don't limit myself on meals, but I do try to cut out a lot of snacks. You really just have to find something that works for you. And be patient with it. There's nothing wrong with losing a pound per week, just think of where you will be in a year.
I lost almost 100 lbs in a year and half and have kept off a good portion of it for the last 5 years. And most of the weight I added was muscle. Just try not to get frustrated. Don't even get on the scale for a while. It could take a little while for your body to react so you might not get quick results, but they are happening.
Good Luck

Well, I am not the absolute thinnest girl but I managed to lose alot of stubborn adolescent weight a few years ago by helping my metabolism. Even though I hated and wasnt used to doing so, I started to eat a small meal as early in the day as possible and not eating late in the evening. After, I would make sure to walk (trust me I was not going to run) for at least 60 minutes a day. I slowly lost 30 lbs and managed to keep it off. Good Luck!!

First, you have to be psychologically ready. Are you at the point of desperation with your weight situation?
You must find a food plan - such as Weight Watchers -and dedicate yourself to an exercise program.
Losing weight is the easy part - keeping it off is the real challenge. Good luck.

I gotta agree with Abby! Weight Watchers! I lost weight with them and have kept it off for almost 4 years now! I also walk a lot too and if I am unable to walk, I do home exercises. If you like to walk and are unable to get outside to do it, try walking up and down your stairs(if u have any), or really anything that you can think of to do at home.
