I met this girl 3 weeks ago, hit it off, got her number and have been trying to go out with her since.

In the first week she wasn't sure about me as I'm 28 and she's 36. By the end of the second week, I was winning her over and suggested meeting for coffee. On the day of, she sounded like she wouldn't make it so I suggested rescheduling later that week. When that day came, she had to cancel due to something involving work. Again, I rescheduled for this upcoming saturday.

I'm thinking if she cancels again, I should write her off. But people have said I should give her more time because she is hot. But I don't want to keep doing this for another 3 weeks. Though she has been very good with taking and returning phone calls.

What should I do about this situation? And what guidelines should I follow when this comes up again in the future?

make her call you back with a good time for you two to get "coffee"...in the mean time keep your pimp hand strong son... go out there and get some more chicks and line 'em up... thats all she is doing to you probably, no hurt feelings just go out and find some new tail this one will give it up when the time is right

Yeah, I went through the same thing. She stalled and stalled. Eventually I flat out told her, it's either now or never. She stalled again and I started dating someone else. I figured a month of my life was long enough...and get this, the girl I'm dating now, everything I mention she wants to do - coffee, dinner, she's up for whatever. So find someone who likes you as much as you like them. Life is too short - who has time to play games?

1) You are the one that rescheduled.. Mr. nice guy I presume..
2) If she's interested, she'll show up.. If not, she'll have an excuse. Try 3 times, then give up.. AND don't make it easy on her dude... let her cancel and/or reschedule.

I can give you a woman's point of view on the situation. Forget her because she is trying to tell you she doesn't want to go out with you without saying it.
There are more fish in the water, you know.
Next time don't keep asking a girl out if she keeps putting you off.
