OKay, there is this guy I like and we flirt, but he is shy and so am I and I wanted to do something to make something or anything (good) happen. After finals should I ask him out to lunch with a group of people, or do something cute b/c it is christmas- I have english with him if that makes any difference. I need a good, and safe way to make something happen. Please help.

just call him sometime and ask him out to dinner and let him know that you like him. or do a little secret santa thing to him and see if he can guess that it was you. that would be fun

From a shy person myself, there are both positive and negative sides to each option, :
If you are both shy, then just you and him could be good as you wont be intimidated by being in a large group perhaps containing people he doesnt feel comfortable around, and as you flirt he may feel more relaxed and have a little confidence to express his views. However if it is just you and him then he may feel pressured into having to do something which will make him feel awkward and clam up. I have experienced long silences where neither wants to talk seriously, it is extremely awkward, and always will be until someone has the courage to say how they feel.
On the other hand, if you go out in a large group then he has the option to gain confidence and lose some of his shyness by talking to people he feels comfortable around, and when he feels more comfortable then he may be more of himself, which could be positive or negative! The problems on going out in a group are that he may develop feeling towards a member of that group, or he may be preyed upon by someone. Also if he is shy and feels comfortable he may not want to leave that comfort zone.
Unfortunately, i dont think there is any foolproof way of making something happen with someone.
I really think that the best option is to tell him that you like him (if you do). I know from experience how toe curlingly embarrassing this can be, but just go for it if, and see what he says. If he says that he also likes you then cute on your own thing it is! If he doesnt like you back, there are thousands more people who will. Good luck

Nothing ventured nothing gained, pose a question to him when final is complete. Hey let's get a coffee/drink, that was some exam. Or something casual like that. Should be easy enough even for a shy lass like yourself.

one of u need 2 do something or nothing will happen.....ask him to help u with ur english homework, or ask him out to lunch or give him a christmas card..

Borrow a pencil, share homework, study together, ask questions about the assignments even if you know the answer.
Wanna drive him nuts? Wait until he's looking at you and the nibble on the top of your pencil. Watch how red he gets.

Make him a very detailed card- not one bought from the store- But a handmade one. Maybe with a lipstick kiss on the inside.

just ask him out for a cup of coffee or to get lunch...no biggie...go dutch so the burdeon of paying isnt on one person..
