Let me share a micarlous story with you that was on the Animal Planet Channel. A gentlemen's wife had a annorism and was in a comma at a hospital. The doctors told him that she was most likely not to make it. He was devasted by the news and prepared his mind for the worse. When he returned home there was a dog sitting on his porch, he patted it and told it to go home. However the humble creature stayed on the porch and when the man opened the door the dog came in like it was his home all along. The guy then sat on the coach and the animal laid its head in his lab, then the man procceeded to pet him.
The man said in the wake of the devasting news, the dog brought love and hope, what he needed. The dog stayed with the man all day until night fall when the dog would wait to go outside to return back in the morning hours. The man was mystified by the dogs behavior and couldn't find any evidence how the dog got out of the gate and where exaclty the dog went for the night. The gentlemen's wife condition deteriated, but the dog was there supporting him through those tough times. Finally he got a call from the Hosiptal concerning his wife, he was expecting them to break the bad news of death, but the doctors couldn't explain it, they said she survived. It was a miracle. When the lady returned home with her husband the dog adopted the women too. And she too was mystified and concern about the dogs mysteriuos night departures. So, the husband and wife locked the dog in their bed room one night. When they woke up, the dog was gone. They believe he was an angel or something and that his job was done.

So there is not telling, a lot of beauty happens in the world, some we will come to understand with added knowledge, and some things we will never understand expect by God's Will. So your story isn't far-fetched..... I just think when are hear stories like this, Allah is Great! And I Praise him and ponder his greatness that stretches far pass the human imagination.

24:41] Do you not realize that everyone in the heavens and the earth glorifies GOD, even the birds as they fly in a column? Each knows its prayer and its glorification. GOD is fully aware of everything they do.

Salam Alykom Sister,

We have 2 spoiled cats, that do the same when my husband prays. He never had any pets until we were married and my 2 cats have "adopted" him, they know when it is time for him to come home and wait for him at the door, when he sleeps they are always near him, sometimes even on his pillow. When he prays they purr so loud and rub up against his legs, and nudge him in the head, I always thought they were just trying to get more attention, but maybe they are feeling that he is praying and it makes them happy that he is such a good Muslim that prays.

Salam

I don't know..but I know the story when Imam Ali was going to pray dawn before he got killed all the animals were crying at him in the road. Like they were saying farewell or something. I think that Animals feel.

Also I remember in Ramadan there was a cat in my neighbourhood used to stand by the mosque's door when we pray taraweeh. And it didn't do this in any time of the year except Ramadan. When that cat died I felt so sad.
