Have you ever tried Topamax that has helped the mania completely. the depression is a little tougher but i think that is the situation i am in. I couldn't handle lithium at all and I have tried alot of of other cocktails of drugs only by Dr's of course but the Topamax has really helped along with neurontin for any pain which also helps with anxiety it is a good combo at least for me. Talk to your Dr always and stay away from the web, looking up the meds will make you not want to try anything.
