I am 16 and I am a guy.
My natural color is brown but it is lightened a little blonder right now. I am about to go to black hair, but its temporary (14 washes). Will it start to turn gray or another wierd color closer to being gone?...cause surely it goes in stages...not just black one day, brown the next....

And if you dont know the answer to the last question or know this answer then...once the black goes away will it wipe out the blonde too and go to brown or will the blonde come back...(It is blonde right now)

If your hair is bleached before you put the black on it'll go a dark dark green and then fade that way........back to blonde, if not, it should go black and then just keep fading, no it wont go grey,

I'm not a guy but I keep my hair kind of short (to my shoulders). My natural color is brown also. I dyed my hair black and as it started to fade away (yep, it goes in stages), it was at first a clear distinction. In other words, you could tell the roots were brown and the hair was dyed black. However some more weeks later, there is still some black and the natural brown is growing into it. I get compliments on my hair all the time. They can't figure out if it's naturally black or naturally brown. Your hair won't go gray and it won't turn a weird color. It'll look pretty cool and I'm sure you'll like it.

Well it probably won't fade to gray, but if you don't want it to fade at all, and want a more lasting color, I suggest getting color from the box. Or a Self-Dye kit. It lasts alot longer than 14 washes, and make sure you get a color treated shampoo thats fade-resistant.

I did that b4.

No it will be more like brown when it starts 2 fade. U know, sometimes peoples hair is dark brown and looks almost blakc? It will look that way @ first and then get lighter.

So yea it will wipe out the blond.

so i would know this answer pretty good. i have golden blonde hair and i love dyeing my hair black..so it will fade pretty fast and there is no grey stage your original hair color will come back maybe not as light as before but black is a hard color to keep. either it stays or it will fade.

your hair won't turn gray. I would suggest going to a beauty supply store instead of going to a drugstore to get your dye. the color will be more true. in terms of fading, it's going to depend on what the base of the dye is...ie...orange base - fades to a more orangey color, red base - fades to a more red/burgandy color....might want to try a blue base one.

Once the black goes away, it won't be blonde again....it will fade to a lighter version of whatever base you have on the dye that you're using.

not exactly gray, but kinda between gray and brown cause i did the same thing with brown and my hairs pretty light to begin with and it took a lottt to wash it out. 14 washes probably wont do it if your hairs a lot lighter than the dye

As the black fades, your hair will become lighter until eventually it gets to a yucky beige
