If he said no the first thing that I would do would be to find another person that you liked then ask that person out. If the first guy said no then that means no if he likes you then maybe if he becomes single then he will ask you.

Do you mean later. as in like later this afternoon. or later as in after they break up. If you are gonna ask later today then you better be ready for a no. but if you don't think they're gonna break up, then the sooner the better.

i think that it would not be nice ,cause u'll look like u dont have anythin or anybody in ur life but him and thats aturn off to the guys cause believe me they like to go after the gurls who has alot of ppl goin after em but they are busy with other stuff ...so my answer to u is yeah it will be rude...if he likes u too he will ask u out 1 day....dont ask him

it depends on if u no this girl that he is going out with and if she is your friend if she is DONT ASK HIM OUT!!! she will probably always still lov him and it will take time for her to get over him so pretend if u were this girl would u like it if someone u knew(a friend) went out with the boy u loved?
