train them to go on it, keep him in a crate with it, then take him out and continue to put the puppy pad down. They do work trust me

it a pad that has a smell that attracts them to the pad. They work great! Just keep taking the dog to the pad everytime you think that hes going to pee and it will work great and maltese and pomeranians are very smart dogs and he will get this
Hope this helps!

I have a 4 month old Bichonpoo she weighs 5 1/2 pounds and will stay small (about 10 pounds) I trained her to go on the wee wee pads much the same way someone would train a dog to go outside. I would watch for signs that she had to go and take her to the pad and tell her "go potty". When I couldn't watch her, at night and when I wasn't home I kept her in her pen. By repeatedly taking her to her pad 15 minutes after meals, after playing and when when I saw signs she had to go and saying "go potty" she learned the pads were where to go. Within 10 days to 2 weeks of getting her she had no accidents. I take pads with me when we go visiting and she goes on them. If I need her to go outside I take a pad outside. She knows the pad is the place to go no matter where the pad is.

I would put the pad close to the door you use the most to bring the dog outside. I guess the pad is supposed to work better if you spry the "OUT" attractant on the pad. I personally think its rubbish. it didn't work for my dog, but she is also a pitbull (very stubborn) good luck.

They work GREAT! I have had my dog on them since she was little and she's 11 now. They are attracted to the smell and for some reason they work. She's a small poodle/terrier and she barely misses.

Except she's blind now, so she does miss on occasions!
