I once dated a young woman from Thialand. I was at refrigeration school in Michigan in 78. I met her at our resteraunt/lounge. We dated on & off thru the summer. She came to where I worked. I took her to meet my mom. When I left she said to me, don't you encourage her. War memories of WW2. I let her go later. Her 2 small children were the most polite, courteous kids I've ever known. She was adorable with hair down past her waist. Imaculate house keeper, and great cook. I've had many regrets over the years for not staying with her. I've even tried a few times to relocate her but failed.

A year ago, I wnt to meet the love of my life anfter a drunken evening in which we'd ended up together and I'd refused sex because I cared too much for a one night stand. This is a girl for whom as a poor student at an ex-poly, I'd bought a £300 bottle of '83 dom perrignon champagne to celebrate her 21st (born in 83) and driven Birmingham to Newcastle to find she was in Carlisle, driven there and left after 10mins cos she turned up with her current boyfriend (whom I knew for a fact she wasn't interested in) and drove home.
I wanted to tell her how much I loved her, but I knew she was fragile after breaking up with her ex and that she truly loved one of my friends. I instead spent the time subconciously making her realise just how important these dreams are and that you had to follow your heart, or life becomes worthless and hollow, whilst using phrases like "If I knew what you had that was so special, II'd be looking for it everwhere" to kill the mood with me.
She went to tell him how she felt the day after and I stayed in my room at uni for a month, living out of what I could get people to buy for me at Asda. I still regret it, but as long as she's happy, the pain will subside with time. It's just that, well, you know when you have someone that when there's even the hint of the mention of romance, they come to mind without even thinking, she still does, but I've not let myself see her for a year...
Sorry if I lowered the mood, but you did ask.

Staying with an old BF for much too long. It was over long before I actually broke it off. It was just a matter of being comfortable.
My first husband...yeeesh.. abusive, self absorbed totally a bad move on my part. But I wanted to "Help" him.
Remember boys and girls, people don't change and if they do, it's only to get worse!

I was on a plane from Rome to Frankfurt Germany. This cute guy fell asleep on my shoulder. I wish i would have talked with him instead of just wondering what he was like.

All the missed opportunities.
The older I get the more i realize...
No one would care if I fooled around with the girl from work. What would have happened if I asked that girl out in high school.
Like everything in life ... GO FOR IT.

I'd have to say cheating. I made out with other guys and didn't break up with my bf cuz i was too immature. I was afraid to break up with him. later when bad things happened to me I blamed it on the karma from when i was unfaithful. it's way to better to go through life with a clear conscience
