Sometimes boys don't understand that girls are flattered when they realize that boys like them. Sometimes boys can be embarrassed to say that they like a girl especially the younger boys.

If us guys are so immature then why ask at all. Why dont' you jsut go make up a little girl colony and try to keep that up. lol jk.
Anyways. he is probably embarrased that you heard that from someone besides him. I mean that's a pretty deep emotion, for someone to just come up and tell you that you love them. is kinda tough so just wait it out. If he really likes you then he'll come to you. Or you could take the more direct aproach and like lure him to you and kind of sucker it out of him. lol

Younger boys seem to get embarressed about it when they like someone for some reason.

they could be playing you or they are shy some guys are shy but you have to tell by their personality what are there intentions
