Hie! In my last question I asked witch one of the following states were best for education for a exchange student.: Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. As said then, I'm 16 years old, and will be 17 when I'm going there next year. I have now got 2 new states I can choose between: Texas and Virginia.
Witch one of those two states whould you recomend? (Here I'm thinking mostely education)
Anything else I should know ? (people, climate, crimerate, and so on)
Thanks :)

Virgnia to the max!! Dude..texas is retarded! Especially in education! You have to take a class entirely on the history of texas. Virginia is more historical...older...nicer weather, especially for someone from Norway- Texas has crap weather! Ive been to both & I would no doubt say that virginia was way better! I could go on forever...Virginia totally!

hi kristian. i live in virginia. there are good and bad here, like everywhere. i live in a rural part of the state, and i can say that the people here are very nice even if they drive too slow. the crime rate here is also very low. i have never had to worry about someone stealing my car or anything like that. climate has to go to texas though. it is 25 degrees outside right now, and supposed to be under 20 by the end of the night. heck its probably 60 degrees in texas. of course, being from norway, you may enjoy the cold. as for the education, i dont know. i went to school here, and i feel as if i got an excellent education. my teachers were very helpful, and we had fairly small classrooms, so they could be more helpful to individuals. if you are looking for things to do outside of education, i would definitely come to virginia. texas probably has more stuff, but the state is so big, you could drive for 10 hours and still be in texas. the population is much more concentrated in virginia, so anything you want to get to will be ALOT closer. hope i helped.
