All the combs are in a bacterial container. All the other cuting tools are brushed off afterwards and freshly washed towel for every customer. Thats at my barbers anyway.

because the hairdresser is usually some trainee chavette, that doesn't care about anything except "Dwayne" her chav boyfriend, what she'll be having for tea or where she's going to get her next packet of cigarettes from. And the sad thing is, she's paying more attention to these trivial matters than concentrating on the client!

As a hairdresser myself, I clean all my brushes inbetween clients and use barbicide which kills germs! A new brush for every client would be expensive!

I wondered that many times. And can you imagine the brush having lice or something like that! EWWWWW. Next time you go to the salon just ask them to use a freshly cleansed brush.
I sure will... *shudders*

they put the brushes in those little jars with the blue liquid in them. the blue liquid is sanitizer its like rubbing alchol and some other kind of cleaner.anyways, they always sanitizer on their scissors and stuff, and if they didnt, they wouldnt be running a business. they probably sanitize their utensils when they arent dealing with a customer

I don't know where you go, but mine uses a fresh brush. I'm sure not going to let her use one that she used on someone else. Just tell her you want a clean brush!

They sanatize them before using them on the next client. If you know a hair dresser that doesnt you should report him or her to the health department
