Well congrats for being one of the few remaining seemingly-responsible people left in this world!

That question can really only be answered by YOU! If you don't feel right about being on birth control, perhaps it's time to give up sex for awhile. If you're married and you and your spouse are arguing over birth control, you really have to come to some sort of compromise. If you're a spiritual person, consider taking it up w/ God.

Just remember that no birth control is perfect, and none of them will prevent STD's!

The type of birth control may be a factor here. If you are using barrier devices, condom, female condom or diaphragm, then you are preventing the egg from being fertilized. An unfertilized egg isn't a baby. The pill, or other chemical types of birth control, work by preventing the ovaries from releasing eggs. An IUD prevents the uterus from being to hold a fertilized egg, which means a baby could be started, but will never be born. Sterilization, either tubal ligation (female) or a vasectomy (male) prevent the egg and sperm from coming in contact.

Personally, I think that it's OK to stop a child from being started. Once it's started, it should be allowed to live, whether with it's birth mother or adopted.

The point of birth control is to prevent a baby from coming into this world through You. That's why women choose to use it, either because they are not physically, emotionally, financially, or mentally ready for a child in their lives' right now.

Depends on your religion and how they interpret what type of birth control you're using. In the Catholic Church, the pill is considered sinful because it doesn't stop the egg from getting fertilized, but it does stop the egg from implanting.

The Catholic Church does allow you to only have sex on safe days, so they allow you to stop a baby that way.

There are other religions that simply wouldn't allow any type of birth control.

If you feel like you're not ready to conceive and take care of a child, it isn't, contrary that's a sign of common sense. We shouldn't keep making babies just because we can. We most know and cope with the responsabilities that come with the upbringing of a human being.

Unless you are financially, emotionally stable and want to become a mother, then you should be on birth control. Children should only be brought into this world by parents who want them.

Absolutely not, that's the whole point right. It is best for the parent and child if something like bringing a life in to this world occurs at a time in someone's life who is ready and responsible for such a lifelong change.

It's a scientific fact that the pill causes very early abortions. So if you believe that life begins at conception than yes, it is wrong to be on the pill. It also can cause you a lot of harm down the line like difficulty getting pregnant when you finally want to, miscarriage, and CANCER! Doctors will not fully disclose all the harmful side affects because the pill is big business for them $$$$$$$
