you could be depressed, or it could be a hormone thing coz of your age, and about to get your period. you should talk to someone if you have someone, like an understanding mum, or someone at school you can talk to like a counsellor.

These feelings can be related to puberty but also could be signs and symptoms of depression. Many people suffer from depression, it is nothing to be ashamed of. It is important though that you are seen by a medical professional that can talk to you and appropriatly diagnose you. This is a great place to get information but should never be used to diagnose yourself or someone else. If you find that your symptoms increase or you have thoughts of suicide you need to tell someone you trust immediatly to find help. Depression is very treatable and if this is what you are suffering from once treated either by counseling and or medication or both you will feel like yourself in no time. Now go and find someone who cares about you how you are feeling, take care!

First off I should say, my mom was severe manic depressive. Back then there weren't the options that are avaiable now. So my experiences are a bit different. I highly suggest you read as much as you can. The more you know, the more you can help her. You'll learn to notice her signs of changing from mania to manic. If she's on medication or going to be taking it, she needs to as prescribed, if not, its a disaster waitting to happen. I found its much worse when she was coming off of them compared to without them at all. Partying is usually a no no, alcohol tends to make this A LOT worse. I believe It also effects how her body will break down that medication. Or in my mom's case during her binges, she would forget to take her medication. I wish you and your wife all the best of luck, but remember you have your limitations and they should be expressed very clearly to her.

You could have depression or just hormones. Yes you can feel those things at your age. I know I sure did and I turned out pretty good. If you have a close relationship with your mom talk to her or with your dad if your closer to him. If you have older brothers or sisters you could talk to them. Maybe you are close to someone at school either fellow student or part of the school staff. Pray. I will say a prayer for you today and hopefully you'll get an answer to your question.

Bipoler which means a person has heavy swings between happy and sad. Unfortuately the only drugs available don't help. They create a blah state and you don't get emotional either way. The, "It was so funny but I forgot to laugh" is something the medication will do to somebody.

It could be chalked up to hormones. You're still growing and a lot of changes are happening...to your mind and body.
But I would talk to someone, like your parents, a relative, a teacher/counselor or someone in your church. You could have depression...it can even occur in teenagers.
Talk to someone...
