this time. Its only for a weekend. I dont know about those reloadable cards from places like radio shack...Any sugeestionson where to get them from??

open a bank account, get a debit card

you can use it the same as a credit card

it takes a week or two

Here's a link for visa.com, plug in your zip code and find the closest bank that sells visa gift cards. Not all banks sell them yet.

Before you do it, find out about registering the card after purchase, and whether that can protect your money if the card is lost. Typically you would be protected if you call or go online and register the card you were given.

I've used them numerous times when purchasing online from people I wasn't 100% sure of. At least then, there's no way to get to my real money on my debit card or credit card.

Go to any bank- they carry prepaid visa gift cards that you can use anywhere!

And it can be for any amount and you get it right away!

ya whats the point of a prepaid CC. or go to AAA and get traveler's checks.

go to CVS its only 13 dollars and you can load it up to $500!
