I'm not a bartender or cocktail connoisseur, so I can't give exact portions. For me, nothing beats a top-shelf margarita. Sweet and sour mix, Patron tequila, Cointreau. Served on the rocks and dressed of course. Ah what the hell. Get dressed. We're going barhopping tonight! Okay, not. I wish though!

Cointreau is great with all the Mediterranean based fruit. Greek olives work, figs, oranges, Strawberries and Kiwi to name a few.
It also go well with light, unsalted crackers.
Myself prefer to drink it with pistachios and kalamata olives.

Orange! I believe Cointreau is orange flavoured itself so you won't get a clash of flavours this way.

well contreau is a orange liqeur so i would leave it on its own or but a dash of orange juice i would put anything else in to not confuse the flavours of the drink
