Did she have parvo vaccinations? That's what it sounds like to me.

The symptoms are:
General and nonspecific gastrointestinal problems
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Bloody diarrhea
Loss of appetite
Lethargy

Puppies and dogs less than two years old, may also suffer from heart disease caused by the virus, causing sudden death

I'm so sorry to her what's happened to your poor dog, and what a trauma for you!
I have no idea what she died of (I'm sure a vet or someone else's answer will help there) but I know one thing: She had a lovely last day with loving owners who played with her.
Once you get over the grief, you'll remember the good times. Till then be strong.
All my love

her shomache could of flipped. this happend to my neighbor. also she could of cut her self. has she been spayed? if she hasn't she could of gone into heat. usually it happens sooner but in this case there could of been a buildup. or she could of had parvo i am very sorry. i had a dog die and it was very tough. just remember the good times.

Sorry for your loss. Hope you feel better.
