There are a number of trees that do not shed all their leaves at a time . Therefore the group or the type of such trees is called 'Evergreen Trees' in botanical or scientific language.

This is in contrast to a group or type of trees that shed all their leaves once in a year , usually in the winter or fall. this group or type is called ' Deciduous Trees'.

Mangifera indica ( Mango). Pinus exelsa ( A Pine tree.)

Coniferous trees don't shed their foliage. Deciduous trees are the ones that do shed their foliage.
