My teeth are straight but I have an overbite. I am getting braces soon but I am so scared I will look ugly. I mean I see some people with braces and they look fine, than there's others who look horrible. I am pretty but I just am scared I wont get the attention from guys with braces. Though I have no choice because I am getting them.

i was the same way good teeth but an overbight! you'll be fine! usually the people who look bad in them are the people who have lots of gaps and cricked teeth cause everything is like turned around and stuff! also i figured out that if you don't get colors just get silver then they are less noticeable especially in pics!! and about the whole guy thing i still get plenty of guys no worries!

This is gonna sound a little harsh but, who cares how you would look with braces. Many people have braces and they are fine with it. I got braces just this tuesday and I already got a date for Sat. night. I don't know how you look but you said your pretty, so there won't be a difference just because you have braces. The people who look horrible with braces probably looked horrible without them too. It's better to think about what good would come from having braces.
P.S If your worried about that you should get invisilign

I had an overbite and had to get braces to correct it. Unless you show a lot of teeth or leave your mouth open a lot of the time, people aren't going to notice unless they look at your mouth when you talk.
Just do exactly what the orthodontist tells you, the more closely you follow their instructions, the less time you will be wearing them.

Everybody looks ugly with braces, it's just something we all have to put up with if we want a nice smile for the rest of our lives. And, an overbite is not too cool either.
There are alternatives now, clear braces, alignment guards, colored braces (like purple and pink).
Think of it as a prolonged beauty treatment.

Braces can't cause you to look ugly. That would be like a new pair of sunglasses making you look ugly. If you are a confident person you shouldn't have to worry about what others will say about your braces. But you should be happy that someone is willing to pay thousands of dollars to improve your oral health!

well i have braces and so do most of my friends and all the guys keep comeing to us. most people don't look that bad in them unless u get a bad color or something. like if u choose the wrong color it might make u look bad.

It won't matter. Braces are braces- most people don't really notice them any more. And when you're grown and out of braces, believe me, you'll be SO glad you had them. I wish I would have!

Heh, I just got them today. And I think I look pretty good, just get the colors that look good with you on your brackets.
