I don't have much established credit, but I need money for tuition and living expenses. Anyone got a suggestion?

If it is for school you can get a student loan from your university. Check out Sallie Mae they can help you get started. Student loans don't generally require much credit because they have an expectation that you will finish school, get a good job with your education, and be able to pay it back. They also usually have lower interest rates than bank loans (but not all do so be careful) and you don't have to pay them back until you finish school. You can also consolidate them so that you can make one payment which is easier and more affordable than paying each individually. I usually take out student loans instead of bank loans for these reasons.

Try your local Loan Shark! They usually lurk around & you may be able to barter? Yeah!
