I don't believe that they all are, but just as an estimate, I would have to say that about 80% of them are. But I wish to have actual statistics of this. From what I have seen in court, this is the same for Judges.

First, corrupt seems to be very subjective.

Technically, if you get pulled over for breaking the speed limit, and the cop just gives you a warning...the cop could be accused of not properly enforcing the law. Does that mean that he/she is corrupt?

I once asked a Detective what percent of the Police Force was to be trusted, & he replied with "I trust less than 3% of the people that I work with. I am outnumbered & I know it, but that doesn't mean that I have given up, it just means that I usually am working alone & I have to make sure that my i's are dotted & my t's are crossed & I have no one to trust other than GOD!" stats show 3% of all agencies are infected wiht corrupt officers.i personely believe that it is at least 25%.except for the courts there off the charts.

Depends where they are, and who they answer to. I like the cops in my own town, but 20 miles away it's bad news. A clean administration begets clean cops.

I believe that it is about 10-15%.

From my own personal experience and hearing stories from others that sounds quite accurate.I would even say 90%.Being in law enforcement is one of those jobs where there is constant corruption and conspiracy theories.

define corrupt...
does a cop corrupt the law if he gives you a warning for a traffic offense??? a beat cop that walks a homeless dude two blocks to the shelter??

i'd say about 80% too but in all my life i only came across one good cop

I am not sure about the percentage, but many of them are corrupt.
