I don't know what the minimum requirements are, but the bigger the hard drive and the more memory, the better. Autocad requires so much detail that without a lot of memory(when i was shopping for a laptop that i could run autocad on, 1 GB was recommended) the program will run slow. I know from experience at school that less memory causes slow speeds to the point of extreme annoyance and often time the program freezes up with little memory, but that may also be due to something else with the computers too(Our computers have issues). Also, in regard to hard drive... the files are so large that if you are planning on saving a lot of autocad files you will probably either want a large internal hard dive or maybe consider investing in an external hard drive, which are surprisingly inexpensive. i hope this helps.
