CAMACHO - W 78 (KO's 37) TF 85 - W pct 92% - KO pct 44% - wins over Limon, Duran[2], M. Paul, Boza-Edwards, Rosario, Leonard, H. Davis and Mancini - KO'ed by C. Walsh (Camacho was 40 years old)
Won titles at 126, 130 and 135
People usually think that Camacho was an overrated, big mouth clown but when you look at some of his opponents and the fighters he beat you know that he had a heart/chin
ARGUELLO - W 82 (KO's 65) TF 90 - W pct 91% - KO pct 72% - wins over R. Castillo, Limon, Boza-Edwards, Olivares, Watt, Mancini, Escalera, and Chacon - KO'ed by Pryor{2} - #20 ranked puncher - #20 ranked fighter
Won titles at 126, 130 and 135
When I reveiw Camacho's career, he is a better fighter than given credit for. In this bout Camacho does everything in the world to escape a KO but he still loses a one-sided unanimous decision to Arguello.

Outstanding fight Brent! In the early going Camacho would use his speed and build up an early lead but Arguello would land the more effective punches. Arguello would cut off the ring from the clever Camacho and land some damaging punches particularly after the 10th round as Camacho is slowing down. In a very entertaining and exciting fight Arguello wins the decision on all three judges cards.

if rosario pushed camacho to the brink over 12 rds i think its safe to say an extra 3 rds for arguello should have been enough i `d love to say arguello by ko in 14 but remember slick vilomar fernandez outboxing arguello and u know ahem macho would have run from arguello and prob have stole a decision in what would be called a boxing masterpiece and i would have thrown up.my heart says arguello by 14th rd ko my head says camacho runs like a girl and gets the nod.

Alexia Arguello by dission after Camacho got caught by a fighter early in his carrier he was never the same he ran in every fight where there was any risk of him getting hurt I don,t like Camacho as a fighter but he did have a lot of skills and he had a lot of heart

Gotta go with Alexis in this fight! Camacho would box and move but Alexis would be patient and stalk him and land the harder shots and gradually take over in the middle rounds and either stop Camacho late in the fight or win a unanimous decision.
