Why is there a universal love of all things blonde?

It's the wow factor, you know. A beautiful blonde can just blow you away.
That said, I've never actually gone out with a blonde. Mostly brunettes and one redhead.
The key issue is who do you feel most comfortable approaching and talking to. It's usually not the blonde, there's something so unatainable about them.
I have a friend (who has fair hair himself) who claims to find blondes completely unattractive. I find that hard to believe, but he assures me that he just prefers brunettes. Personally, I think it's because his VERY BLONDE sister is just too darn hot. He can't admit blondes are attractive because it would be too weird for him.

No becasue I am a true and natural blonde and probably half of the blonde jokes were about me, and I never get any guys. I'm kinda popular but not a complete dork. Blondes do rule, but brunetts and redheads are cool too!

Some men prefer blondes. I have NO idea why people think that every guy out there loves blondes.

Me? I've dated all hair colors and types....I go more for personality and brains. Yeah, looks open the door, but it's everything that's inside that gets you to stay!

Blondes, natural ones, are really in a minority. Think about it! Their contrast to most other women that are not 'fair' complexed is alluring. Espeically so if they tan well. Sorry to say this but why go for the average darker haired majority that is 'common'?
Another thing is that some of those 'blondes' take great pride in their appearence, which only adds to their allure.

I'm a guy and I actually prefer brunettes so men don't really prefer blondes. I think it would be about 50/50. Men do prefer women who dress in a sexy way though, so buying nice clothes is more important than changing your hair color in my opinion.

yes. Blonds get more looks from men. I think it is just cultural conditioning...a Pavlov's dog response to shiny golden hair. There are shallow men who only date blonds but, blond or not, who'd want them anyway? I once saw a bunch of guys all stop in their tracks to check out a lady with long blond hair who was at an ATM. But when she turned around to face them, they all said "never mind" and went on walking. Yikes, I felt bad for her.

wow listening to all these guys say they go for "personality" .. its hard to beleive! I tell you I was light blonde for 3 years and this guy i really liked (this is in highschool right) hated my blonde hair (he goes for brunettes) so my hair is naturally brunette so one day i dyed it brunette, not many people recongiszed me haha. Everyone said I looked like im smarter!! and not just a dumb blonde.. I have in my mind that guys go for blondes but i think its changed abit now sense i have red what these guys have said.. but blondes are fun/ flirty/ n se*xy but they are dumb!!!!
