Try using a fork. I know I do this when a recipe calls for a squeeze of orange juice. You might need some sort of strainer if you don't like a lot of pulp. But I just cut the orange in half and then stick a fork in it and twist it around while squeezing the orange.

Yes you can but it is a lot of work because I did it as a kid. Roll the oranges on the counter until softer and insert one of those little plastic juicers and squeeze until the juice flows and you will have to do this until your arm drops off to get enough juice.

If you have a juice machine, you could slice the oranges in quarters, and push them in, one at a time. I've done that. You could buy a thing that you punch it into an orange, and squeeze. But to use one of them little plastic items, is hand straining. Or you can buy the orange juice at the market.

i used to use one of those plastic squeezer things, where you cut it in half, and drain the juices. Then I would add water and sugar according to taste. I've never used a juicer and it usually comes out good.

You can hand squeeze, but you'll have to squeeze a lot of oranges. Cut em in half and squeeze over your glass.
