What is meant when someone says "Judas!"

EXAMPLE
In the movie "Wedding Crashers"
Owen Wilson is a little mad at Vince Vaughn
Owen says: "You're unbelievable!....... Judas!"

Since Judas was the one who betrayed Jesus in the bible, calling someone a Judas means they're a traitor or that they went behind your back.

Judas was a traitor. He is the one who betrayed Jesus to the authorities. He posed as one of Jesus's best friends but for a few gold pieces he stabbed him in the back.

This is all derived from the bible. Judas sold out Jesus by telling the high priests where Jesus was in return for pieces of silver. Judas is traitor. This can also be heald comparable to the phrase "Et tu, Brutus" from W.S.'s Julius Caesar.

Do you believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God? Because if you don't, then it doesn't matter how many verses I quote, you will never believe what "the Bible says". Its obvious that you have been doing some research. So by now you must know that we as humans are all sinners; none of us are good. We are born with a sinful nature. What does that mean? The inclination to do what is bad. I don't want to do what is bad but if I get careless I give in. Once converted God's nature takes over and gives us strength to lead the right path. When The Lord returns, our sinful nature will cease to exist and our struggle with sin will end. Homosexuality is one of the most difficult sins to struggle with. No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians to run away from sexual sin, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Paul goes on to say "Those who indulge in sexual sin will have no share in the kingdom of God". He writes that God will "Abandon them to their shameful desires" If homosexuality will not get you to heaven, then it must be a sin. Do you feel that God should apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah? Their sexual sins led them to destruction. If only they had repented and turned from their ways... Paul writes that sins can be washed away and the person can be made right with The Lord. This is what "the Bible says" and I believe it.

If someone or something is being called "Judas," then it is referring to the Biblical sense, i.e., 'traitor.'

I've heard it used in a 'clean' environment instead of the word 's**t.'

For some reason, the expression doesn't sit right with me.

*Judas as in Judas Priest - people will say something like swearing yet not as offensive _a polite way of cussing like cheese n crackers or darn it.

This is a question not and answer to another question! My question is in the T.V Show Crossbones when Black beard is getting ready to throw Charlie over board after stabbing him he looks him in the face and say's "Good night Judas" I know that Charlie slept with Black beard's lady and I was wondering if maybe he was letting Charlie know that he knew by calling him "Judas" ?? This has been driving me crazy wondering if he found out his friend who was like a son slept with his soon to be wife?? All answers and comments will be greatly appreciated Thanks :)
