Why do people waiting for the elevator stand right in front of the door, as if expecting an empty elevator? And then act surprised that people want to exit before they barge in???

Hey! Next time you exit the elevator and someone is standing there looking stupid just give em' a shove out of the way. They will pass it on at the next stop and so on. By the end of the day, I can guarantee you no one will be standing too close to the door when it opens.................What's up with these people?!

i understand, the elevator is a humorous place to be. human beings see that the call button is lit, and each guy or woman who walks as much as get on the elevator pushes it besides. i will in basic terms wager on the rationalization, we are human, and do humorous human issues. we actually do no longer understand how an elevator works, and we actually do think of that pushing the button dissimilar situations will hurry it up. it is so embarrassing for us if the elevator would not provide up on our floor, that we push it two times. And in as we communicate's busy worldwide, we expect of that we've not got the time to waste. and we don't believe the guy who has already pushed the button, as properly as no longer trusting the eleator. Now that we've that elevator subject solved, right this is yet another one: why while the doorways open, will we've this compulsion to get out, no be counted if if is our floor or no longer? i'm in charge, there are 5 flooring in my development at artwork, and that i've got been out the door onto all of them, by employing mistake. LOL, help?

People are simply not thinking. Could be plenty of different reasons for that.

Regardless of where their head has been up to the point that the elevator door opens and there are people about to get off, the waiting person should move to the side before boarding.

It's mostlikely because they're afraid of the doors closing before they get inside of it. They're usually in such a hurry. I've had people trying to get on the elevator while people are still exiting.

It's the human nature to be first. Everyone wants to get on the elevator first because they think they'll miss it or something. They just want to make sure they have a spot on the elevator.

That's so true isn't? Rude. I barge out of the elevator and don't step aside. I think people going in think they have "the right of way".

Because they are ignorant and do not know it is improper to enter an elevator until all exiting parties have left the compartment.

Optimism and Hope are two reasons. Being conceited and worried that somebody else may try to barge in before them are two more!

It's human instinct to rush into things. Just knock them out of the way and pretend you never saw them.
