I had a daydream awhile ago. I dreamed about a voice. I saw a vague figure but his voice stood out to me ,mostly. It began to speak and it said to me " People are evil. Their thoughts are evil continually. If given a chance they will attempt to destroy you. You will have very few people in your life that will love you. Hold on to those few people and pray for the rest. Money is god in this world. People worship money and will do anything for it. I have allowed you to be "poor" so you will see your enemies and friends as they are. Remember who they are when you become rich. It's okay to have one friend that loves you than a million enemies who pretend they love you. It's okay to be alone." What this voice said to me, I have never forgotten and never will. How do you feel about this?

wow. definetly a personal you-and-god expierience. It's true. You can back it up with scripture too. Worshipping money is called the spirit of Mammon. THe bible says you either serve Mammon or God.

Um, its an interesting daydream, but in daydreams, we dont hear voices except for those we deliberately form for ourselves. Was it a dream or a daydream? If you heard a voice saying these things and you were awake, you may have a serious psychological abnormality.

But what does that have to do with your original question about being alone and whether or not it's 'ok', whatever THAT means?

I'm concerned about a voice that makes a general statement that people are evil. There are certainly some that will attempt to destroy us, but not everyone. I certainly agree that we should pray for them all. I think it's okay to be alone, but it is certainly more entertaining and fun to have good friends that you can trust. One good friend is infinitely better than many acquaintences.

I don't have an an answer...all I can say is wow and from what the voice said most is true. biblicaly speaking
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21
“If riches increase, do not set your heart on them." Psalm 62:10

Wonderful, though I' not a preacher, I think God said this to some peoples which He which to keep, as his, and as his friends, and he which for then to continue being who they are because in the first place that was his reasons to let you know what you have let me know happen between you and HIM(God), I which to God that he will continue blessing you as well that providing for you what ever you need to achieved whatever he which for you to pursue. isn't easy to make God happy, though he know how to make us happy if we give HIM(God), one more chance. God bless you in Jesus name Amen.

It sounds sort of weird but it is true that some people use you and pretend to like you so you will give them your stuff.
