Generally with a bluetooth device fitted, there is an option to stop or start the device. If you leave it running there is a remote possibility of annoyances. if it's stopped no problem. The only real risk is if you make it discoverable by other devices, and this would only be for a few seconds at a time, and with you watching. Like a mobile phone really.

The Dongle works the same as Bluetooth connection between phones. It requires password detailes. It also has a 10 metre radius. Set your firewall for it. If you have SERIOUS doubts, then don't have one connected to your pc.

If they have a bluetooth enabled computer within a very short distance of your computer, it's technically possible, but extremely unlikely even then. There is security on it, but all security can be bypassed with work, knowledge and time.

Short answer - No.
You and they have to provide a key that matches, and as long as you are not daft enough to leave yours on the default they can't get in without your knowledge. Even if they guess the right no. you have to allow them access.

no it needs you both to enter a matching code, but if someone had physical access then they could do the code on both devices to pair them without you knowing. but it's a lot of trouble for very little reason. ps:people on here say 10metre radius but mine does 100m and i neary bought a 300m one.

except your motherboard helps a "Raid" configuration, you need to in common words connect 4 IDE contraptions on to the motherboard. except it truly is an exterior rigidity, your DVD-RW is probable IDE, too. So, it could be accessible to position in 3 IDE puzzling drives {along with your boot rigidity(s)} and the DVD-RW. even with the undeniable fact that, once you've different IDE drives already put in on the computing device(which incorporates a CD or CD-RW rigidity) and favor to save them, you is definitely no longer in a position to position in each and each and every of the further puzzling drives. even with the undeniable fact that, once you've PCI slots available, you may purchase a PCI card to operate 2 or 4 extra IDE contraptions for your motherboard. then you're able to have as many as 8 IDE contraptions. in case you want to have more beneficial than 4 IDE contraptions operating at a time, purchase or construct a computing device with the "Raid" configuration.
