"You should not judge". I hear this phrase said a lot. Should Christians judge or not? What'cha think.

I think you can judge a man by his fruits. In other words you can pretty much tell from a mans track record what he has been up to. Beware though because he could be in total forgiveness if he has repented and is back in fellowship with God. With discernment that comes with the gift of the Holy Spirit, you will be able to tell if someone is operating in or out of the Spirit of God. If they are out you can hide a multitude of sins by helping a backslidden person back in fellowship with God. I really don't think anyone should go around minding someone elses business. If you are led by God into someones life and God chooses to minister to that person then you can be a willing vessel, but only God and His Holy Spirit know the true condition of the soul.

Humans can not determine what another person's eternal destiny should be. In that sense Christians should not be judgmental. However, Christians have a duty to determine if another person might harm them in any way or harm others. If a person might impact them or their children in any way such as influence their thinking, Christians must be careful to discern if these others have good or bad intentions or will do are act in a way that might be a threat. IN that sense it is absolutely essential to judge other's intentions and actions and motivations to the best of one's abilities.

Yes: what I think means nothing, here is scripture

orinthians I 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
Corinthians I 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Corinthians I 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
Corinthians I 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
Corinthians I 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
Corinthians I 6:6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

No. considering we are as much as a sinner as everyone else. We're only saved by grace. God is perfect and is the only one that can judge rightfully.

Kind of like the judge in a court system has never commited a crime before.

Christians are to hold each other accountable...that involves a certain amount of judgement. You must compare speech and actions to the spirit and commands of Christ.

Christians are to hold themselves to this higher standard.

Judging non-christians, however, is not tolerated. Non-christians reject the Law and reject Christ. In the end God will judge them, and they will be thrown into the lake of fire for eternity.

Not anyone that doesn't believe in Jesus Christ.
That is The Fathers job.
However we are to judge the actions of other Christians, this is biblical but we are to do it in a Christ like fashion square it with scripture, and also with witnesses.

Funny; one man said the job of a Christian is to witness not to judge. If you don't know the difference, never go to court.

Judging others is basically their reason for living. Their religion tells them they are superior to others that believe differently. Every judgement pumps them up. Every one of them is a little soldier, doing god's work!

I don't like them much. Amazing how many REALLY ignorant people think they are somehow superior because of their religious beliefs.

We are not to judge others. We need to make judgments, as to what is good or bad, right or wrong, as we make decisions in what to do as we go through life
